The New York Metropolitan Chapter will be holding a two-day training seminar. The topics to be covered include:
Root Cause Failure Analysis
One of the most important factors to consider when repairing motors is to understand why they failed. This seminar will focus on common as well as unusual types of failures broken down by components.
This seminar is intended for anyone interested in understanding motor failures, and those who want to serve customers by addressing the cause of failure rather than the symptom. An extensive resource manual includes hundreds of photos of a wide range of failures, with the likely causes listed, and a clear methodology for confirming the probable cause of each failure. Each student will also receive a CD-ROM containing a PDF version of the manual with almost all photographs in color.
Submersible pumps are a vital component of everyday operations for most major industries including municipal water and wastewater, mining and construction, agriculture, food processing and manufacturing. Most service centers encounter them on a regular basis, but their repair presents some challenges beyond standard motor repair. This seminar will provide the fundamental knowledge needed to be successful in repairing submersible pumps.
As an active EASA member in good standing, we would open this two day course to two members/associates at no cost. Should there be a need for more than two attendees from each EASA facility, the cost for the two-day seminar would be $90 per attendee (seminar only). This would include all the printed course materials and accompanying CD. Please note food and accommodations pricing will be determined once the facility is booked and confirmed.
To be determined.
